Pre war heritage house at China street

GEORGETOWN UNESCO heritage house @ china street 
China street is one of the busiest streets in georgetown Penang and it was known as "tua key"(main street)in Hokkien. China street is located within the Unesco heritage site and is connected to two major street known as Beach street and Pitt street. It was later discovered that china street was established by a famous community leader and pioneer settler who had arrived with Francis light during 1786.
China street was the primary street for the Chinese people where most merchants set-up their businesses there.Later on the Hokkien and cantonese community built their earliest place of worship at the head of China street. This is where the kuan yin teng temple was constructed and is the oldest chinese temple in penang
